Course Objectives: | To have basic information about the basic principles of nutrition, ergogenic supports and eating disorders in athletes, which are an important part of sports performance. |
Course Content: | The place of macro and micro nutrients in sports nutrition, hydration in athletes, eating behavior disorders, ergogenic supports. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns energy, macro nutrient requirements of athletes, 2) Learns micro nutrient and liquid requirements of athletes, 3) Gains knowledge of ergogenic supports. 4) Comprehends the importance of eating disorders in athletes. |
