Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course for each student;
The aim of this course is to enable the students to understand the basic features of the pathologies and causes of hearing, speech and balance and to ensure the correct orientation of the patient.
Course Content: Anatomical and physiological features of the hearing system, anatomical and physiological features of the speech system, anatomical and physiological features of the balance system and clinical features of disorders occurring in these systems

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Comprehends the characteristics of normal hearing and speech and balance.
2) Recognize disorders and underlying disorders of hearing and speech and balance system.
3) Define clinical problems in hearing and speech and balance system and refer them to relevant experts.

1) Knows the basic concepts and terminology, evaluation processes and methodological application principles in the field of physiotherapy and rehabilitation; uses this advanced knowledge in study, research and practice. 1
