Course Objectives: | This course aims to corroborate the contemporary economics knowledge of students by teaching the theoretical-philosophical infrastructure and development process of economic thought. |
Course Content: | The theoretical development of economic thought from feudal system to the rise of capitalism and from the rise of capitalism to modern-day. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learn that material conditions and economic structure are intensely determinative in the development process of ideas along with political and social conditions. 2) Understand that social life and economic life also change whenever technology and science change and this brings about new economic theories and thoughts. 3) Consider economic problems as dynamic and continuously developing processes instead of static phenomena and they can able to perform more objective analyses. |

6) To design and to prepare scientific studies such as theoretical or experimental projects, reports, articles and theses, either on their own or with others, and uses qualitative and quantitative research techniques related to their field. | |||||||||||

8) Develops behavior according to ethics and social values and evaluates what they have learned by deciding what they need and critically question the information they have acquired. | |||||||||||
