Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To give general information about pharmacy, pharmacist and pharmacy,
To teach general definitions such as disease, patient, health, medicine, prescription, treatment,
To give general information about pharmacy and pharmacy legislation,
General principles of pharmacy management
To teach marketing and sales methods
Course Content: General information about pharmacy, pharmacist and pharmacy, pharmacy regulation, pharmacy business, marketing for pharmacies, pharmacy workers and patient rights.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Define concepts about pharmacy and pharmacy management.
2) To follow and explain the laws and regulations related to pharmacy legislation and pharmacy workers.
3) Define the properties of the pharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals in pharmacies and keep them in accordance with the storage conditions.
4) Explains the types and procedures of prescriptions in pharmacies.
5) Explain the pharmacy operation and apply the marketing techniques and sales techniques in pharmacies.
