Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to enable students to look at the concepts of economic growth and development from different perspectives. For this purpose, traditional growth and development literature will be held together with the current issues. |
Course Content: | Concepts of economic growth and development, comparative analyses at macro level, traditional and modern economic growth theories, industrialization, technology, inequality, sustainability. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Define and distinguish economic growth and development. 2) Understand economic growth and use related data. 3) Comprehend the driving forces behind economic growth. |
