Course Objectives: | This course aims to enable the students to understand financial system, monetary policy, functions of financial intermediation, and the banking sector in Turkey. |
Course Content: | Scope of this course covers; the role of money in financial system, financial system and banking, functions of the financial intermediation, financial crises, banking sector in Turkey. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students are expected to learn the functions of money and the financial system. 2) Students will learn banking sector practices. 3) They are expected to understand financial crises and the Turkish banking sector. |
