Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to provide the student with the necessary knowledge and skills about general characteristics of infectious diseases, infection chain, protection from nosocomial infections and infectious diseases, causes of infectious diseases, diagnosis, treatment and care.
Course Content: This course provides students with knowledge and skills about prevention from infectious diseases, causes of infectious diseases, diagnosis, treatment and care.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to comprehend infection
2) Summarizes common infections
3) List the methods of protection from infection
4) Knows the sterilisation-disinfection methods
5) To be able to give informatio about infection
6) It can describe the reservoir of infection, transmission routes, entry route to the new host, susceptible hosts.
7) To be able to tell infection treatment and infection care
