Course Objectives: | In this course, the student is expected to understand the communication process and to use it effectively, to have basic competencies in oral and written communication, to express herself to improve communication skills, to have an effective role in group and health team, to develop effective communication skills. |
Course Content: | At the end of this course; the concept of communication, the importance of communication in human relations and the factors affecting communication, the basic characteristics and requirements of human, effective communication methods, the importance of health communication, group dynamics and communication in groups, communication in the media, communication with people and groups in special situations and understanding of all these information in the field of are the topics will be held thorought the course. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Define human, self awareness, communication, professional communication, concepts of conflict and anger. 2) Explain how the communication process works. 3) Learn verbal and non-verbal communication methods; the basic skills to communicate effectively in everyday and professional life. 4) Use assertive behavior, effective anger and conflict management strategies and therapeutic communication skills in social and professional life 5) Learnd media usage in health sector and planning and organising campaing in health sector |
