Course Objectives: | The aim of this course for every student is; To identify acquired neurogenic language disorders To evaluate acquired neurogenic language disorders To distinguish different types of aphasia |
Course Content: | Evaluation and decision-making process, evaluation tools, types of tests, evaluation purposes, understanding of the content, form and usage of language, evaluating the production, content and usage of language, stimulus approach, thematic language stimulation and semantic properties analysis, Helm Elicited Language Program for Syntax Stimulation (HELPSS) and Response Elaboration Training (RET), Visual Action Therapy & Promoting Aphasics' Communication Effectiveness (PACE), therapy approaches for global Aphasia. |
