Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Definition and Characteristics of the Play, The Importance of the Play, Developmental Contributions of the Play, History of the Play
Play Theories, Play Stages Depending on the Child's Development, Play Types, Playgrounds
Toys and Play Materials, Play in Different Cultures, Children with Special Needs and Play
Learning the Play based evaluation, the investigation of the literature about children and play
Suggestions to Improve with.
Course Content: In This Course, history, play theories, definition, play development and features, the importance of the play, the contribution to the play, phases of the play, play types, teaching methods as the play, the play material according to the child's age and developmental characteristics, the contribution of the play material to the child's development, the play material features and features to be considered in the selection, children with special needs, and evaluation by play and play.

4) To understand the basic concepts, approaches and theories related to the field of child development, relate the current experiences with national and international developments.
