Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach the students who continue their education in the department of child development during pregnancy and lactation, and to teach the critical points of nutrition in infancy, pre-school and school and adolescence.
Course Content: Pre-conceptional period, nutrition during pregnancy and lactation, 0-1 age infant nutrition and pre-school period, feeding of school age children and adolescents constitute the content of this course.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the energy and nutrients that a pregnant woman should take according to the gestational month.
2) Tells the nutritional characteristics of a nursing mother.
3) Regulates the feeding of the baby who is 0-1 age.
4) Express to the characteristics of competence and competence in terms of reviewing the growth and development of preschool, school children and adolescents.
