Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to enable students to learn basic pharmacological concepts and to have knowledge about the use of these concepts in professional life. |
Course Content: | Learning the pharmacological concepts, giving information about the importance of pharmacology and making case studies in order to evaluate this information professionally. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Describe the importance of pharmacology and the properties of pharmaceutical drug forms. 2) Explains pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic effects and their properties. 3) Explains the interactions between drugs, side and toxic effects of drugs. 4) Explains drugs affecting the autonomic nervous system and its effects. 5) Explain the principles of antibiotics and treatment with antibiotics. 6) Know the drugs that affect cardiovascular and respiratory systems and describe their use. 7) Explains antiinflammatory and analgesic drugs, their mechanisms of action and side effects. 8) Describe the central nervous system drugs, their mechanisms of action and side effects. |
