Course Objectives: | To train well-equipped, dynamic health care workers who can respond to the present and future demands of the globalizing world and who can do it anywhere in the world under all circumstances and conditions, believing in the doctrine of the sanctity of the profession. |
Course Content: | Anesthesiology and the basic medical and ethical principles of the medical and ethical principles of the patient, approach to our colleagues, the relationship of institutions. Risk perception and planning of measures. Supply, maintenance, use, replacement of equipment. To have complete anatomic, pharmacological and physiological information within the content of the subject. In the light of this information, anesthesia, initiation, follow-up and termination process is carried out. Emergency response. Detection and analysis of pathological changes. To be able to see and prevent possible situations in postanesthetic period and to record all these according to legal requirements. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) He/She defines patient monitoring, monitoring parameters and devices. 2) He/She explains induction agents, anesthetic gases, muscle relaxants, local anesthetics and application methods. 3) He/She applies intubation, extubation management and CPR. 4) He/She explains the content, application and properties of liquid electrolyte balance and sera. 5) He/She describes the physiology of acid base balance and physiopathology. 6) He/She explains blood gas, tracking, equipment, interpretation and management. |
