Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To respond to today's and future demands of the globalizing world and to train well-equipped, dynamic healthcare workers who can do all over the world under any circumstance and condition, believing in the doctrine of the sanctity of the profession, in a way that is memorable and far away from the habits.
Course Content: Anesthesiology and the basic medical and ethical principles of the medical and ethical principles of the patient, approach to our colleagues, the relationship of institutions. Risk perception and planning of measures. Supply, maintenance, use, replacement of equipment. To have complete anatomic, pharmacological and physiological information within the content of the subject. In the light of this information, anesthesia, initiation, follow-up and termination process is carried out. Emergency response. Detection and analysis of pathological changes. To be able to see and prevent possible situations in postanesthetic period and to record all these according to legal requirements.

1) He/She defines the history of anesthesia and medical ethics.
2) He/She explains the subjects of anesthesia and operating room, security systems.
3) He/She defines preoperative anesthesia and operation room preparation, anesthesia tools and equipment.
4) He/She defines the stages and maintenance of anesthesia.
5) He/She explains patient position and anesthesia complications.
6) He/She explains local anesthetic complications, treatment approaches and local anesthetic toxicity.

1) Anesthesia technician has professional consciousness.
2) He/She knows the duties, authorities and responsibilities of the anesthesia technician and exhibits ethical behaviors that will carry out harmonious teamwork in the operating room.
3) He/She has the basic knowledge, skills and equipment suitable to the contemporary health technician approach, to be able to carry out communication with the patient, to take responsibility and to develop solutions when faced with an unforeseen situation related to the field.
4) Without giving any harm to patients,he/she gives importance to hygiene asepsis-antisepsis, sterilization, contamination and infection with the basic knowledge about the health care work environment.
5) He/She recognizes and uses the medical terms used in anesthesia applications.
6) He/She knows the basic structure and functions of human body and biochemical mechanisms and uses them in their professional studies.
7) He/She has information about basic anatomy and diseases related to systems.
8) While applying his / her profession, he / she can benefit from appropriate information sources and information technologies.
