| Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is for each student; The aim of this course is to teach the operating room environment, the patient and the environment preparation of the operation, the properties of the basic instruments and materials used in the operating room and the use of the devices. |
| Course Content: | To give information about the creation of the operating room environment, the preparation of the equipment in the operating room and the features and usage of the devices used in the operating room. |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explain the cases requiring surgical treatment 2) To be able to recognize the basic equipment, sets and materials in the operating room in creating an ideal operating room environment. 3) To be able to distinguish general anesthesia, spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, nerve block anesthesia and local anesthesia practices 4) Explaining the effects of surgery on the patient 5) To be able to recognize the technological tools used in the operating room 6) To be able to explain the duties and responsibilities in the operating room in the perioperative process 7) Having knowledge about the operating room layout and working environment 8) Ability to explain duties, authorities and responsibilities |
