Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to give the student basic information about the establishment, administration and registration of the health unit in dentistry services. |
Course Content: | The legal procedures required to open a practice in oral dental health services include the selection of office equipment and lighting, medical waste management, patient registration and appointment systems. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will be able to comprehend the legislation regarding the opening procedures of the practice, polyclinic, ADSM. 2) Staff, policlinic and staff knows the minimum required to work in the ADSM. 3) Recognizes the basic duties of the responsible manager, the notifications to be made to the provincial health directorate. 4) Defines the standards of sterilization and calibration of devices. 5) Defines basic information about protection from hazardous materials and medical waste management. 6) Patient opens the file record, makes the appointment process. 7) Define central appointment system and its operation. 8) Inspection, laboratory, radiology entries and invoices. 9) Defines warehouse material management, supplies material from warehouse stocks. |
