Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Designed to train well-educated professionals for the television and radio industry, the Radio and Television Programming program emphasizes practical training while also providing the theoretical foundation essential for broadcasters. To support students' hands-on education, the program is equipped with professional facilities including state-of-the-art Shooting and Editing Studios, a TV studio, control/voice-over rooms, and an OB (Outside Broadcast) van, enabling the production and broadcasting of multi-camera television programs even beyond the studio environment.
Course Content: The Radio and Television Programming course covers the fundamental principles of broadcasting, types of broadcasts, program formats, broadcasting language, ethical standards, and technical applications. Students engage in hands-on practices such as producing programs in studio settings, operating cameras, editing, and sound design. The course also explores topics including scriptwriting, directing, creating broadcast flow, and multi-camera shooting techniques.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Identifies the basic concepts and functioning of radio and television broadcasting.
2) Can distinguish between program formats and types of broadcasts.
3) Produces and plans broadcast content both in the studio and on location
