| Course Objectives: | To enable students to comprehend the use of virtual reality (VR) technologies in healthcare, their application forms, potential benefits and ethical and social impacts; to provide the knowledge and skills to analyze VR-supported solutions in healthcare services. |
| Course Content: | Fundamentals of virtual reality technology, hardware and software components; use in medical education, therapeutic applications, surgical simulations and rehabilitation; VR-based psychotherapy; patient education and mindfulness applications; addressing ethical, legal and security issues. |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Be able to define the basic structures and components of virtual reality technologies. 2) Explain the historical development and types of VR applications in the field of healthcare. 3) Ability to analyze the use of VR in areas such as surgical training, psychotherapy and rehabilitation. |
