Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to recognize current technologies used in digital art production, understand their impact on artistic creation, and gain the theoretical and technical knowledge required to develop creative projects.
Course Content: Definition and history of digital art, pixel-based and vector visual production tools, 3D modeling and augmented reality applications, artificial intelligence and algorithmic art, interactive art projects, new media art, exhibition formats of digital art, NFTs and blockchain technologies, critical readings on the relationship between art and technology.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Can understand the theoretical background and historical evolution of digital art.
2) Can develop interactive, algorithmic, and media-based digital art practices.
3) Can produce original artistic projects using digital tools and software.
