| Course Objectives: | Identifying wound symptoms and findings in the light of concepts affecting wound formation and healing by understanding skin physiology in detail and learning traditional and modern wound healing and care methods. |
| Course Content: | It includes skin physiology, wound formation, classical and modern methods used in wound healing, biotechnological products and wound care. |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows skin physiology 2) Explains the stages of wound formation and healing in detail 3) Understand the mechanism of methods used for wound healing 4) Have knowledge about wound care and management 5) Acquires literature review, research and collaboration skills regarding wound formation and healing. 6) Classify acute and chronic wound types and distinguish the clinical features of different wound types. 7) Compares traditional and modern wound care products in terms of their ingredients and mechanisms of action. 8) Evaluates the role of innovative methods based on biomaterials and nanotechnology in wound healing. 9) Develops innovative product or method recommendations for wound healing using scientific literature. |
