Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to raise students' awareness of environmentally friendly logistics practices and sustainable development policies, and to use methods that will make logistics processes more environmentally friendly and the ability to use methods that will reduce the carbon footprint.
Course Content: Historical Development of Sustainability, Importance and Scope of Sustainability in Today's Conditions, Introduction to Environmental Sustainability, Environmental Externalities and Market Disruptions, Sustainable Development Theory, Logistics, Reverse Logistics and Green Logistics Concept, Development of Green Logistics, Importance of Green Logistics, Green Logistics Systems, Reasons for Green Logistics Green Factors Affecting Logistics Topics such as Green Logistics-Related Activities of Companies in Turkey, Green Logistics-Related Activities of Countries in the World, The Importance of States in the Green Logistics Process, and Difficulties Encountered in Green Logistics Applications will be included.
