Course Objectives: | This course is designed to help you develop an understanding and awareness of the fundamentals of management and the way organisations behave, providing students with an overview of the field of management and insights into the concept of organisation structure. By understanding how management theory has developed and exploring the four basic elements of management: planning, organising, leading and controlling and how organisations use their scarce resources to achieve their objectives. |
Course Content: | Bu ders temel yönetim ve işletmecilik kavramları; örgütsel çevre ve değişkenleri, yönetimin tarihsel bir süreçte geçirdiği aşamalar ve günümüze yansımaları, yönetsel fonksiyonlar ve güncel yönetim uygulamalarını kapsamaktadır. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows management and related concepts, can explain the relationships between them 2) Understand the evolutionary process of management theories and make connections 3) Explains the main components of the internal and external environments of business, their impact, importance and influence on an organisation. 4) Explains how decisions are made in an organisation, including the types of decisions to be made, problem definition and various decision-making approaches. 5) Understands management functions 6) Defines basic business concepts, principles and values that contribute to organisational performance. 7) Reveals the subsystems within the business and the relationships between them 8) Knows post-modern management concepts |
