Course Objectives: | Health Tourism includes medical tourism, thermal tourism, Spa and Wellness applications and elderly and disabled tourism. Health tourism course deals with the issues related to travels in order to protect or treat health and the applications of tourism enterprises operating in this field. |
Course Content: | Tourism concept, history of tourism, their contribution to the national economy, types of tourism and tourism policies in the world and in Turkey, health tourism, thermal tourism and spa tourism, and the world medical tourism in Turkey, the elderly and disabled tourism, the leading countries in health tourism, tourism policies and 8 marketing strategies, the promotion of health tourism business, tourist health services and health of workers in the tourism, health tourism and ethics in the world and in Turkey made about medical tourism resea |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explain the concepts, characteristics and types of health tourism. 2) Express the development of health tourism and reasons of development. 3) Discuss the health tourism sector and its regulations. 4) Turkey and around the world to analyze and evaluate health tourism. |
