| Course Objectives: |
This course aims to develop students' clinical leadership capacity and skills by recognising their individual development areas, gaining a sense of shared success with others, providing individual-oriented service, focusing on business results and process improvement in order to ensure patient-employee safety and improve health care service quality. |
| Course Content: |
This course includes the main components of clinical leadership, individual characteristics necessary for clinical leadership, managing self and work, working together as a team, communicating and collaborating effectively with health team members, managing conflicts, using evidence in care, coordinating care, focusing on people/individuals and improving care outcomes, professional values and patient advocacy, managing care in a mixed ward and ensuring continuity of care. |
