Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide safe and quality care services in health institutions, to prepare students for professional working life by enabling them to use the general and professional knowledge, attitudes and skills acquired during their education in the clinical field and to exhibit the roles and functions expected from the graduate nurse at the highest level. |
Course Content: | This course includes creating and implementing a care plan within the scope of clinical practices and theoretical courses by directly participating in patient care in hospitals; providing education to patients and their relatives; self-development and presentation by identifying training needs; contributing to continuous improvement and change management with using communication, teamwork, problem solving and leadership skills. Students do their clinical practice in MLP Care hospitals in units with adult internal medicine or surgery or women's health patients. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Applies nursing care using evidence-based guidelines and nursing process in line with legal and ethical principles. 2) Communicates effectively with the individual / family / community and health care team members. 3) Carries out the training of patients and their relatives. 4) Offers solutions to ensure patient safety and improve quality in the unit where they work. 5) Uses scientific and current knowledge in patient care practices, education and other material development and presentation works. |
