Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The course is aimed that the student understands and can use the communication process effectively, has basic competencies in oral and written communication, develops self-expression, self-confidence, self-efficacy, self-awareness competencies, increases communication skills, learns to take an effective role in a group and medical team, and develops effective communication and leadership skills.
Course Content: Content of the course: Communication and leadership concepts, the importance of communication in human relations and leadership and factors affecting communication, basic human characteristics and requirements, effective communication methods, the importance of health communication, leadership skills, concepts and skills related to self-understanding and reflection of the individual, group dynamics and communication in groups, therapeutic communication, the basics of professional communication and professional communication skills, conflict and negotiation processes, communication and leadership skills for different generations constitute time and stress management issues.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the concepts of human, self-knowledge, communication, professional communication, conflict and anger.
2) explains how the communication process works in organizational life between individuals and groups.Dec.
3) Learns written, verbal and nonverbal communication methods.
4) Have the basic skills to communicate effectively in everyday life and in the professional field.
5) Applies assertive behavior, effective anger and conflict and time management strategies, helpful communication skills in social and business life.
6) Gains self-leadership and group leadership competencies with time and stress management.
7) Develops employee skills that will ensure their employability
