Course Objectives: The importance of disaster, types of disasters, precautions to be taken against disasters, disaster management, effects of disasters on public health, prevention of hazards that will create risks before, during and after disasters, planning and preparation in the stages of harm reduction, preparation, intervention and improvement of the disaster management process, to gain knowledge about the duties and responsibilities of the disaster nurse who takes an active role among the health team regarding disasters.
