Course Objectives: Knowing what alternative birth methods are and how to use them
Course Content: 1.Labor - Factors Playing a Role in Normal Labor 2.Risk Factors in Labor 3.Birth Pain - Coping with Birth Pain (Non-Pharmacological Methods) -Reflexology -Acupuncture-acupressure -Homeopathy -Phytotherapy/aroma therapy -Hypnosis 4.Coping with Birth Pain (Pharmacological methods) 5.Alternative Birth positions 6.Water Birth-Home birth 7.Lamaze Method 8.Dick read method/Leboyer method/Bradley method/Odent method 9.Vaginal birth after cesarean section (VBAC) 10.Alternative methods regarding placenta 11. Epidural anesthesia at birth/epidural anesthesia from caesarean section 12. Follow-up of fetal health in the intrapartum period
