Course Objectives: | It is important in analytical chemistry to teach chemical principles, analyze possible errors in a chemical analysis, evaluate experimental data using modern analysis techniques, statistical methods, and laboratory skills necessary to obtain quality data. |
Course Content: | What is Analytical Chemistry?, Chemicals, Apparatus, and Unit Operations of Analytical Chemistry, Calculations in Analytical Chemistry, Errors in Chemical Analysis, Statistical Data Treatment and Evaluation, Sampling, Standardization and Calibration, Aqueous Solutions and Chemical Equilibrium, Effect of Electrolytes on Chemical Equilibrium, Solving Equilibrium Problems for Complex Systems, Gravimetric Analysis Methods |
