Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is making an introduction to professional practice in the field of architecture by making a description of subjects of the professional practice and discussions with invited professionals. Understanding the various roles of an architect in the profession is one of the objectives of the course. Developing a critical stance by doing research, attending lectures, raising questions, engaging in in-class discussions is the main goal of the course. |
Course Content: | This course is based on the lecturer's notes on the professional criteria set forth by national and international professional associations and professional practices, and on seminars and discussions focusing on the professional experiences of professionals and/or academics from different design fields. |
