Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course offers students an opportunity to understand the basic concepts of stage design, art direction processes, and the role of visual narrative on stage. By focusing on design elements such as color, light, texture, space and costume, students develop their ability to tell visual stories while creating the stage world.
This course also offers students who want to explore the creative potential of the performing arts the opportunity to take a closer look at arts management processes. While students learn art management processes, they also have the opportunity to understand and apply the dramatic effect of visual design.
Throughout the course, students are given the opportunity to express themselves and create unique projects in the field of stage design and art management. They also improve their ability to realize their own stage design projects.
Course Content: This course adopts a comprehensive content covering the disciplines of stage design and art management and aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge and practical skills. While students explore prominent concepts and techniques in both set design and stage design, they will learn to realize their projects in accordance with professional standards. The emphasis of the course is to provide students with the ability to put arts management processes into practice and work on projects focused on enhancing the dramatic effects of stage design. Additionally, by hosting leading industry professionals throughout the course, students will be offered the opportunity to gain insight into real-world experiences and sectoral contexts. This approach ensures that students are equipped with not only theoretical knowledge but also practical knowledge in line with industry standards.
It aims to make learning more effective and applicable by focusing on students' skills.

Learning Outcomes
