Course Objectives: | Social Practices in Architecture course aims to recognize the practices that produce architectural and interior design works for social needs and to discuss the arguments arising from the production style of these practices. The objectives of the course are to learn alternative architectural practices and collective construction methods; discussion of transformation and interventions for urban and rural conditions; developing creative ways to raise civil society awareness of social challenges through architectural thought; is to identify problems in various conditions and scales and develop solutions with temporary approaches. |
Course Content: | Within the scope of the course, examples of social architectural practices from the world and Turkey, the conceptual contexts of these practices, styles and methods of construction will be discussed. In the course, students are expected to propose and develop a social project. |

1) Continuously following up-to-date publications and developments related to the profession of Interior Architecture and shaping the design process in line with the theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of architecture and art. | ||||||||||||||
2) Acquiring universal knowledge in the fields within the discipline of interior architecture. | ||||||||||||||
3) To have the right professional communication skills in professional life by using all the inputs and conditions related to Interior Architecture profession and to have mastered the methods of interior architecture representation and professional terminology. | ||||||||||||||
