Course Objectives: | Within the scope of the Cultural Heritage and Space course, it is aimed for students to learn the traditional space uses of historical buildings within the scope of local geography, to make thoughts and practical productions on the current uses of traditional spaces, and to develop criticism. |
Course Content: | Within the scope of the course, theoretical lessons are planned within the framework of the concept of cultural heritage. In addition, a presentation and poster must be prepared, including historical research on the structures worked on during the semester, information collection about the structures, adaptive reuse criticism, material and construction system evaluations. It is expected that improvement suggestions will be developed in terms of conservation on the samples examined. |
