Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to introduce the world of robotics and gain basic robotic concepts and coding skills. The course aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the design, programming and control of robotic systems. Topics such as basic electronics knowledge, Arduino and Raspberry Pi programming, sensor and motor control, robot design principles, image processing fundamentals aim to provide students with the necessary skills to understand and develop various robotic applications. Additionally, at the end of the course, it is aimed for students to develop an understanding of future robotic trends and application areas and to understand ethical responsibilities. This course aims to strengthen participants' skills in robotic coding by providing students with practical experience and supported by interactive projects. |
Course Content: | This course provides students with an introduction to the field of robotics and coding, enabling them to understand basic robotics concepts. It provides students with practical skills, including topics such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi programming, sensor use, and basic motor control. At the end of the course, students will have basic competencies in robot design and programming and will be ready for future robotic applications. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Basic Robotics Knowledge: Upon completion of the course, students understand the basic definitions of robotics and coding and are able to use basic robotic terminology. 2) Basic Robotics Knowledge: Upon completion of the course, students understand the basic definitions of robotics and coding and are able to use basic robotic terminology. 3) Arduino and Raspberry Pi Programming Skills: Using the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platform, understanding the Arduino IDE and basic commands, gaining knowledge and skills on the integration of sensors and actuators with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. 4) Robot Design and Motion Control: Understands the principles of robot design and gains the ability to apply basic issues such as chassis and motor selection, wheel and actuator systems. 5) Sensors and Interactive Applications: Understand basic sensor types, gain information about sensor operating principles and calibration; Additionally, students gain skills in interactive robotic applications such as mobile applications, voice control, and communication between objects. |
