Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Providing students with information on quality monitoring and evaluation, quality assurance and accreditation in health sciences, especially in institutions, and preparing them for the field.
Course Content: The content of this course includes the concept of quality, the development of the quality concept, the philosophy and principles of Total Quality Management (TQM), quality management tools, and quality management practices. It also covers the importance of quality, monitoring, and evaluation in healthcare sciences, especially in institutions, as well as the significance and process of quality assurance and accreditation.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the importance and content of the concepts of quality assurance and accreditation in health sciences.
2) Characterizes the stages and features of quality assurance and accreditation practices.
3) Evaluates quality assurance and accreditation efforts in institutions.
4) Provides recommendations for quality assurance and accreditation efforts for institutions, using the necessary criteria.
5) Takes responsibility for quality assurance and accreditation efforts for institutions and prepares an independent project in this field.
6) Adopts the principle of lifelong learning by effectively using ways to access information.

2) Uses the sciences such as health, education and psychology in addition to the basic knowledge and skills of the Child Development discipline and uses these sciences effectively.
3) To express himself/herself as an individual and a team member in the education, justice, culture, health and other related institutions related to Child Development, he/she carries out the necessary professional work independently and takes responsibility.
4) To understand the basic concepts, approaches and theories related to the field of child development, relate the current experiences with national and international developments.
