Course Objectives: | To know the functioning of our country's juvenile justice system, the functioning of the system regarding children who have been dragged into crime, victim witnesses and children in need of protection within the justice system, and the principles of inter-institutional and multidisciplinary work, and to know the professional roles and responsibilities, and to gain the ability to define the roles and responsibilities as a child development specialist in the justice system. |
Course Content: | Definition, causes and prevention of juvenile delinquency; The importance of family in preventing juvenile delinquency. The focus will be on juvenile delinquency in the world and in Turkey. |
