| Course Objectives: | To learn the concepts of management information systems and its strategic importance. To have comprehensive information about the stages and components of building management information systems. To explore how to achieve competitive advantage through the use of management information systems in the global economy. To gain the ability to produce solutions for problems and to meet the needs of businesses and organizations with the perspective that management information systems require. |
| Course Content: | This course is designed to make undergraduate students understand management information system which is interaction between management, informatics, and system. In the design process, the technologically restructured world and the new industrial revolution are taken into consideration. This course is the basis for understanding the role of the MIS in the business world, and its impact on the business and organizations. In addition to that content, new industrial revolution, data science, cybersecurity and changes in the business culture will be discussed. |
