Course Objectives: | It is aimed that students have basic information about oral diseases, learn the mechanism of caries formation and understand the importance of oral and dental health on the general health of the individual. |
Course Content: | It contains basic information about oral and dental health. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To know the morphology of mouth and tooth structures. 2) To learn the microorganisms that cause tooth and gum diseases. 3) To learn the mechanisms that cause dental caries formation. 4) To learn the mechanical and chemical methods applied in oral and dental health. 5) To learn the factors that cause bad breath. 6) To learn the nutritional factors that are effective in oral and dental health. |
