Course Objectives: | The course aims to understand the impact of genetic characteristics on individual differences through neuron biology. |
Course Content: | In this course, the interaction of the physiological properties of the neuron and its genetic properties and their effects on cognitive functions will be discussed comprehensively. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Describes neuron anatomy, 2) Recognizes the receptors on the synapse structure and knows their functions 3) Knows the mechanisms of genetic differences 4) Knows and explains the effect of genetic factors on behavior 5) Identifies genes involved in cognitive processes and can generate hypotheses that can be the subject of research. 6) Develop skills in research reviews, research experiment design, application and interpretation of statistical analysis, and critical analysis of reliability and validity in research designs |

2) 2) To have theoretical knowledge about etiopathogenesis of neurological and psychiatric diseases and to have knowledge of neurological and cognitive impairments and central nervous system pathology knowledge in these diseases. | ||||||||
