Course Objectives: | Qualifying Exam (Quals) aim to test the student’s technical abilities, the examine his/her scientific knowledge, and to evaluate his/her ability to conduct research and teaching in the general area of the student’s Academic Program (Department). |
Course Content: | The Qualification Exam consists of written and oral parts; The written part is given as an in-class exam. The oral part is done by verbal evaluation of the student in front of the jury. |
