Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to examine and evaluate current research topics and findings in the field of developmental psychology theoretically and methodically.
Course Content: This course examines the basic concepts in developmental psychology, developmental perspective, developmental theories, research methods, and physical, cognitive and socioemotional development from conception to adolescence.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To explain basic concepts related to life-span development
2) to explain the theories of developmental psychology
3) To know the research methods of developmental psychology.
4) To explain the physical, cognitive, social and emotional changes that occur in different periods of development
5) To able compare developmental periods with each other.
