Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course includes group psychotherapy studies, main theoretical approaches to group psychotherapy. Throughout the course, students will learn basic techniques and practices for group therapy. In addition, they will have learned the therapy process by experiencing the methods in group psychotherapy.
Course Content: This course covers the definition of group psychotherapy, the therapeutic factors in group therapy, the creation of therapy groups, and the components and techniques of therapy groups.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students taking the course will define the concepts of group psychotherapy.
2) Students taking the course will describe the stages and practices of group psychotherapy.
3) Students taking the course will experience the process of group psychotherapy.
