Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide detailed information about the pathologies seen in childhood and adolescence.
Course Content: This course; Introduction to child and adolescent mental health, Developmental psychopathology approach in child and adolescent mental health, Risk factors / Protective Factors in Psychopathology, Anxiety Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Mood Disorders, Behavior Disorders, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity, Learning Difficulties, Pervasive Developmental Disorders, Adolescence/Eating disorders, Trauma / Neglect / Abuse.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students will be able to acquire basic skills in evaluating children and adolescents with a developmental psychopathology perspective.
2) New developments related to childhood and adolescence will be followed.
3) Will be able to comment on the basic pathologies of children and adolescents.
