Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed that students develop awareness about current issues in clinical psychology and have a good command of theory and research.
Course Content: This course includes client-therapist preferences, emotion regulation in clinical psychology, self-help, positive psychology, self-compassion and mindfulness, contemporary psychodynamic therapy, psychodynamic therapy effectiveness, psychodynamic therapy case formulation, psychodynamic therapy case formulation mood, internet and computer assisted psychotherapies and third wave psychotherapies.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) They will understand the latest developments in clinical psychology and psychotherapy.
2) They know the diagnostic systems in the field of mental health.
3) They will be able to make evaluations on the most current issues in the field of clinical psychology.
