Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to provide students with theoretical and practical up-to-date information on the etiology and treatment of psychological disorders. A critical perspective on definitions and concepts is provided to students. |
Course Content: | Distinction between normal and abnormal, conceptualization of psychopathy, sharing of related theories, case presentations, recognition of international diagnostic Decategorization systems and examination within the framework of related disorders |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To gain a scientific and clinical perspective on abnormal behavior 2) Will be able to discuss classification systems such as ICD and DSM from a critical point of view 3) To know different theories about abnormal behavior 4) To be able to distinguish abnormal behavior and to know the criteria for distinguishing 5) to be able to make case formulation and presentation |
