Course Objectives: | To introduce the basic topics and research areas of industrial and organizational psychology. To gain the skills to apply theories and concepts to the subfields of industrial and organizational psychology. |
Course Content: | The theories and concepts of industrial and organizational psychology, industrial and organizational psychology contemporary perspectives, research methods in the workplace, motivation, employee selection and evaluation, business analysis, leadership, communication, conflict and stress management in the workplace, such as the basics of industrial and organizational psychology. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the basic theories and concepts of industrial and organizational psychology, understands the tasks of industrial and organizational psychologists 2) Understands the importance of motivation in terms of increasing organizational efficiency and ensuring employee satisfaction. 3) Can plan a research process in the field of industrial and organizational psychology 4) The employee knows and applies evaluation, recruitment methods and techniques 5) Knows the ways to deal with conflict and stress in organizations 6) S/He knows the importance of the communication process in terms of the healthy functioning of the organization. Has the skills to improve and improve organizational communication. |
