Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to explain the basic concepts, approaches and models used in the critical paradigm to describe the mass communication process.
Course Content: Explanation and discussion of critical approaches to mass communication in the context of historical, social and intellectual development conditions.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To have knowledge about the basic concepts and approaches used in the critical communication paradigm
2) Will be able to comprehend and discuss the ties between mass communication, media ownership and property relations, and political power.
3) will have a comprehensive perspective on mass communication and media studies.
