Course Objectives: | Understanding the principles underlying scientific approaches, developing analytical thinking skills and gaining the knowledge and ability to conduct scientific research within the framework of ethical rules |
Course Content: | The nature and development process of scientific knowledge, method and method principles in social sciences, some basic concepts of scientific research methods, quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis techniques, ethical rules that should be applied in scientific research and ethical citation forms and techniques. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explain some basic concepts related to science and scientific knowledge. 2) Explain the process and types of scientific research and determine the level of scientificity of any work. 3) Explain the basic features of quantitative and qualitative data collection techniques. 4) Knows the ethical rules that should be applied in scientific research. 5) Demonstrate how to conduct research in accordance with ethical rules and make it into an academic study |
