Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is in cases of sports injuries; ability to identify problems, identify appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches, and develop patient-centered clinical problem-solving skills with evidence-based medical knowledge.
Course Content: In this course, case reports of athlete injuries and discussions are made on patients.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains treatment planning in patients with athlete's injury.
1) Gains the ability to create an exercise program for children, women, the elderly and chronic diseases.
2) Recognizes sports injuries, evaluates the injured athlete, plans and implements the appropriate treatment program.
3) Explains the lower extremity injuries in athletes.
3) Distinguish upper extremity injuries in athletes.
