Course Objective and Content
| Course Objectives: | In this course, brilliant characters who have done and are doing successful works in the past and today, but meanwhile who have chronic diseases, will be discussed and information about the diseases in question will be obtained. |
| Course Content: | 1. Introduction: "Brilliant" and "unhealthy" concepts will be discussed. 2. Alcoholism / Substance use disorder –Robert Downey Jr Hepatitis B/liver cirrhosis- Beethoven 3. STD –Micheal C.Hall (HPV related lymphoma) 4. Malignancies (leukemia, lymphoma, others) - Tetsuya "Ted" Fujita- brain cancer 5. Obesity /anorexia 6. Diabetes /Tom Hanks 7. Depression-Jim Carrey 8. Burnout syndrome- Eric Yuan 9. Acnea / Emma stone 10. Congenital malformations-Sumeyye Boyacı 11. Asthma -Nilufer 12. Celiac disease-Novak Djokovic 13.
